We are at the helm of the future of law and the creation of a new way of working.

The positive outcome of the pandemic is that it accelerated change for everyone, especially in the workplace. The need for swift people management, nimble adaption to technology and fast delivery of services - all within a new working paradigm. Now, we can design the new reality of a post-pandemic world and are at the threshold of the future of law and the creation of a new way of approaching work and clients.

 

Good leaders are those that find a way of transforming and evolving with a strategic focus on its organisation’s purpose, meaning, and value - to think and work differently and to constantly challenge the work orthodoxies of the past, is in the best interests of its staff and its clients. Even though law has been known to be averse to change the pandemic has created a survive to thrive environment. This means there is room for clearer planning, creating flexible yet productive work environments and empowering the new work model with technology and tools. It is a brave new 'law' world and it is the adapters to this change that will thrive.

 

The Managing Partners Forum is in its fifteenth year and has established itself as the foremost event for legal leaders in strategy, leadership and technology, throughout the Asian Pacific region.
